Thank goodness last Friday was a sunny day and dry. We had hired our bunting out for a wedding where the reception was held in a Marquee, so dry weather was important (also good for the Bride and Groom!) we didn’t want soggy flags!
The colour theme for the wedding was mauve and yellow. The bride looked amazing in her white ballet length dress and she carried a bouquet of beautiful sunflowers. There were pots of sunflowers on all the tables and tea lights glowing through heart-shaped holders. The ceiling was covered with large mauve and yellow pom-poms and our bunting was around the sides of the marquee and over the top front of the bar .The bunting flags on all our bunting are double-sided and we used gingham check fabric to make the flags and the total length required was 50 metres.
The effect was indeed very pretty and we were pleased to see that the bunting brightened the otherwise plain cream sides of the marquee and mixed well with the other decor pom-poms and table decorations etc.
As we knew the happy couple we were lucky enough to be invited to the evening reception and able to photograph the venue . Both “Mr and Mrs” were really pleased with the Bunting and the final effect when everything else was in place.Their comments really pleased us ” thank you so much for all the work that you put into the bunting it has really been part of making our special day extra special” said Mr N. We were thrilled at the comments as Bunting Hire is a fairly new addition to our business.
All our best wishes to the newly weds who are now in sunny Greece and we look forward to the next hiring of Bunting for whatever specail occasion it may be required for.
Back to the sewing machine!
