Vintage Crackle ATC

Hello Crafters, and welcome to another blog post, this time all about my crackled ATC! This is another technique learnt from the wonderful Laurart.

First of all I cut my ATC to size and set about to create the crackle effect you can see in the first photo above. Using French Roast Fresco acrylic paint I covered the card completely.

Next, I used a thin layer of crackle glaze, and spread it extremely thinly across the card. Then I topped this with vintage lace Fresco acrylic…and watched as the cracks formed.

DSCF6343I then cut a small amount of card, and used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to create the above effect.

DSCF6344Then on a smaller card I used Bundled Sage Distress Ink. Then using a script stamp and Vintage Photo I created the above look.

DSCF6345I cut up some doillies and coloured one section in Tarnished Brass Distress Stain and the other with Vintage Rose Distress Stain. I edged both parts with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I added a flower embellishment and a heart. For the heart I used Antique Linen Distress Stain and edged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I would love to know you were here and what you think of my ATC, so please leave me a comment!

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
